St James Hotel, Grimsby

I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were really cold, and I spent the whole night freezing, even with two duvets. The bathroom was a bit dated and could use a revamp. On the bright side, the service was top-notch, especially when I needed a better mattress, and the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The location was good but seemed a bit sketchy with gangs of youths around, yet it was fantastic in terms of access to the city center. The dining wasn't great, with a bland and mass-produced feel to it, but there were plenty of food choices nearby. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
